Mamapalooza Inc. is an international organization with Festival Stages, Tours, Conferences, Music Publishing, a Record Label, Books and Radio. MAMAPALOOZA organizes events and opportunities for artists who are mothers, families and entrepreneurs year long.

Alexia Nye Jackson joined the San Francisco Board of Directors in June 2005 to help launch their new Outreach Program, and is currenty on the Communications Committee.

"The progress that has been made in the areas of research and development here in San Francisco and the surrounding communities is nothing short of outstanding. Research communities the world over know us, and they know JDRF. That's because JDRF is not about fear, or about waiting, or about defeat. We are about action. We are about coming together and finding strength in numbers. We are about sharing information and energy."
